IMPORTANT INFORMATION
NEW LAKE USAGE ARRANGEMENTS
Please be aware that our Landlords – Cemex – requested to temporarily cordon off part of our current lake for Health & Safety reasons whilst their barges are in operation.
As a compromise and to avoid a cordon being situated across the eastern side of our current lake, TWC have agreed not to use the current lake during working hours, but to use the West lake instead (see info below).
Copies of all correspondence regarding this matter has been emailed to TWC members, this includes detailed information regarding the proposed cordon which would have made our current lake virtually unsailable on the days we are permitted to use it. Members can request a copy from Pete Rabjohns. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
PERMITTED SAILING TIMES:
CURRENT LAKE:
All day on Sunday, weekdays 5pm onwards, Saturday 1pm onwards
WEST LAKE:
Weekdays 7am – 5pm, Saturday 7am to 1pm
The gate to the West Lake will be locked using the same key we currently use to access the changing rooms. (members requiring a changing room key should contact Pete Rabjohns.
Car parking can be limited so please be considerate and avoid blocking the access gate.
Rigging We have had instances where untethered rigs have become airborne & damaged cars so please never leave a rig untethered.
