Single:
Whole year Membership £55.00 plus 3rd Party Insurance per year*
(£45 joining fee)

Family:
Whole year Membership £70.00 plus 3rd Party Insurance per year*
(£55 joining fee)

Junior:
Whole year Membership £20.00 plus 3rd Party Insurance per year*
(£15 joining fee)

University Student:
Whole year Membership £20.00 plus 3rd Party Insurance per year. No joining fee.*

Joining halfway through the year: We have a half year joining point because some people come from summer holidays where they discovered windsurfing, and want to join in September.  Once you reach the following March 1st, you join the usual -year March-February cycle. September-February rate is £ 27.50 single, £ 35.00 Family, £ 10.00 Junior. (…plus joining fee).

Once only Joining Fee: for Newly Joining or Rejoining Lapsed-Members: £45 for single and £55 for family and £15 for junior membership. This will include free 3rd party insurance for the first year.

*Compulsory minimum third party insurance for at least one board only. Additional boards or extra cover are an option as required: the difference is to be paid with the renewal. Newly joining members get third party single board insuarance Free, from the joining premium.

Late Renewals: We normally require a late renewal charge of £10 from renewing members who leave it till after March 1st. This keeps the admin nice and clean, focused on the month of February. Members who fail to renew for a year will be deemed to have lapsed and should return their key to the Membership Sec.

A membership form and insurance details are available to download and print, but if you don’t have a printer then please request one from the membership secretary.

You can make admin a lot easier by turning up to the AGM and paying at the AGM, so that the bulk of admin and form filling is all done in one shot.

A few rules…

As a member please bear in mind the following:

1. Display the car window sticker in a prominent place.

2. You are advised only to sail when others are at the lake.

3. Kindly ensure the cabin and gate are secure if you are last out – in any event, the gate should be kept locked at all times on the instructions of our landlords. (Even if the gate is open when you arrive or leave, close it behind you and lock the padlock.)

4. Identifying TWC Sail Stickers are available to members from membership secretary.

5. Wear a buoyancy aid if you are not wearing a buoyant harness.

6. We have had instances where untethered rigs have become airborne & damaged cars so please never leave a rig untethered.

To use the price table, look across the top at the type of membership you need, and then look down the list until you get to the level of insurance you need. Remember – If you have family membership and you all want to be on the water at the same time then you need to have multiple boards cover. Please pay by cheque made to “Trent Windsurfing Club” for the whole amount, including the insurance premium. Remember – insurance is not optional, you must have at least third party insurance administered through TWC to be able to sail.
