Windsurfing Club
Trent Windsurfing Club benefits from the use of a 40 acre lake in Long Eaton
Country Park, in close proximity to both Nottingham and Derby. Being within easy
reach of
the M1 & M42, the Club is in an ideal location for East Midlands' windsurfers.
Benefits:
• A 40 acre lake at your fingertips, dedicated to the sport of windsurfing;
• Easy all-year-round access, 7 days a week, 365 days a year;
• Membership fees of as little as about £1 pound per week;
• Members can 'pop down' for a few hours sailing or for the whole day;
• No additional parking or launch fees.
You may already be using one of the large lakes like Rutland or Carsington, but
they require a full day's outing and perhaps longer travel distance. With TWC's
convenient location you can have a quick hour or two's blasting, or enjoy a whole
day - you choose! Trent Windsurfing Club are always pleased to welcome
new members of any ability. Come down on any windy weekend and you're very likely
to meet a committee member to discuss joining, or just ask one of our members
to point you in the right direction for enquiries.
Members do require their own board, rig and wetsuit, together with valid 3rd
party liability insurance which is arranged through the Club during the joining
