>A SUCCESSFUL AGM
Thanks to all those who attended the Club's AGM on Thursday 7th February 08. It was good to see so many people take the trouble to attend and go over what has been happening over the last 12 months. Voting for the 2008 Committee took place and as a result more or less remains 'as is' for another 12 months, with the exception of Gareth Jones who has stepped down from his role as Social Secretary to be replaced by Gordon Roach. The Club would like to thank Gareth for all his efforts in 2007.

>"IT TAKES TWO"..Launch of the Club Tandem
Sunday 13th January 2008 was the inaugural launch and sailing of TWC’s new Starboard Gemini Tandem board.
The board was purchased using club funds for the use of all members. The two winter hardmen who test sailed the board were current Chairman Clive and ex Chairman Steve. These two heroes battled with winds gusting to 25mph and a water temperature of just 4.8C while others just watched and shivered.
Seriously now, as already said, the board is for all members to use and is an excellent way to have fun in light summer winds. Or to use as a training board either as a VERY large stable platform on your own or with someone of a different ability.
We intend to put TWC’s logos on it and use it to promote the club at local demo days, such as Noble Boards demo day at Rutland Water and Robin Hood Watersports demo day at Fraisthorpe beach near Bridlington. This is in addition to being available to club members at our own waters prior to arrangement. PICTURES AVAILABLE HERE.

>CLUB FORUM
 As you are probably aware the club forum has been down for some time now. Our web service provider is aware of the problem and is currently working to rectify the problem asap.
As of Tuesday 8th January 08, they were at DEFCON4, so I think they're almost there! (hopefully...)

>CURRY NIGHT - 29TH DECEMBER 07
